Travel Light with a Cosmetic Case/Clutch

“I always pack just carry-on. I love funky chiffon dresses that you can roll and twist- imagine a Fortuny fabric,” queen-of-cute-meets-punk Betsey Johnson recently explained in an interview with iTraveliShop.com about her plan of attack for traveling light. “I do my tshirts and my leopard skirts and I’m good to go. I think my makeup bag takes up more room than my clothes. It’s the damn shoes which take up all the room. So I wear my funky espadrilles on the plane. I also try to pack an eye mask and ear plugs, and a close makeup mirror so I’m not sitting in the sink to put on my makeup.”
Like Betsey, try packing accessories that multitask - such as a makeup bag that can double as a clutch for an evening out. While you probably wouldn’t pay this much for a cosmetic case normally, the ability to forgo baggage claim and travel light and stylishly with only carry-on…priceless.
